Definitely get the ipad 2!

It's an unbelievably cool product! I've had it for a week now, and it has exceeded my expectations in every area but one. It is such a pleasurable experience to hold it and interact with the machine. It is a very intuitive, tactile, and personal interaction with the web.

Having a touch screen to interact with the web is a very different experience than using a mouse.
It is NOT supposed to be a netbook, so reviews which compare what it doesn't have, miss the point.
This is a whole new computing device to accomplish perhaps 80% of what most people use computers for for all the basic uses (email, web surfing, music, movies (the Netflix app rocks!), games, ebook, magazine reading (Zinio is great), and the news (the USA Today app is a joy to use) it is great.

I have already been finding myself on my laptop much less often than before.

The iWork apps are a pleasure to use. The one area that seems to be more convoluted than it should be, is printing. You can't print directly from it. You have to either email it to yourself, or transfer the file over when you sync with iTunes. But it looks like the 4.0 version of the operating system is going to provide a lot of fixes which people are looking for.

A few years from now, tablets like this will be everywhere and those who are on computers are mainly using them for work. I knew the ipad 2 would be a big hit when my 70 old mother, after seeing mine, decided she was going to get one too!

As for buying them, your best bet for the cheapest price is off eBay where i've seen them for $170 shipped or on Amazon.com ... click Any link on this page to get to Amazon.com

That waiting list its workless they will get ipads in 5 weeks like everyone else and when they get it they just will call you but they wont hold the ipad for u means if u dont have time right away to go to the store and buy it they will sell it.

That may be possible, I did get three of them on the 12th, but then that same night I returned to the Best Buy store and they were sold out, I also purcased some from the Apple Store on the release date at 1 AM and they're going to arrive tomorrow, then I try to purchase more and the estimated shipping time changed fron 5 days to 5 weeks, that's crazy.

Are you a game enthusiasts playing for long hours? You need a notebook cooler. I have a COOLER MASTER U2 Notebook Cooler w/c has dual purposes. Detach the easily detacheable dual fan, & you can use the aluminum frame as a protection for your laptop's LCD screen when inside the bag. I got mine from MicroCenter.com for 48% cheaper than the regular $24.99 tag (FRYS.com SKU#: 6344931).

If you're a little bit low on budget, get the next best thing. MacBooks are different in the sense that Apple Macintosh runs on Mac OS X unlike the WINDOWS 7, Vista or XP OS (Operating System) that most laptops have.

FYI: I always tell my customers, a laptop's battery is similar to a cell phone's. You charge it when it's depleted & you unplug the adapter when it is already fully charge (this will prevent the battery from getting overcharged & extend the life of the battery). So for less hassle, I always advice my customers to just remove the battery if they plan to use the computer for long hours straight (more than 1 hour) and just run it on AC power alone so as not to overcharge it & shorten the battery life.
